The Comm One On-Call answering service has been designed with system reliability as the number one priority. Our service is based on a hosted IVR (Interactive Voice Response) platform called Voxeo, a leader in IVR telephony applications development and hosting. This system uses multiple redundant network operation centers around the U.S. (and one in the U.K.), thereby eliminating any single point of failure. Incoming calls can be answered by any one of the 4 network operation centers. In addition, Comm One On-Call maintains both a primary and a backup data server, which virtually ensures that our answering service is online, 24 hours a day, every single day. All data, including your call schedules and doctor profiles, is backed up daily to our backup server.
The Comm One On-Call answering system is also continuously monitored by us, the Comm One staff.
